Tobago Carnival + My Favorites
TBA Tobago's Carnival celebrates colour, culture, music and unity alongside the much bigger Trinidad event. Smaller than the Trinidad Carnival, Tobago's exudes the same energy as people put long hours into creating spectacular costumes, and baking cakes and breads for the big calypso parades on the Monday and Tuesday before Lent. Address: Scarborough Tobago
Buccoo Goat Race Festival + My Favorites
TBA Known as the goat racing capital of the world, Buccoo Village, which is located west of Scarborough, hosts the annual Buccoo Goat Race Festival. Held on Easter Tuesday, the goat races attract hundreds of spectators to the purpose built track at the Buccoo community grounds. The popular event also includes crab racing, a parade and food vendors. Address: Buccoo Village Trinidad
Divali Festival of Lights + My Favorites
TBA Divali is a Hindu festival held in late October or early November. This Festival of Lights involves the tradition of lighting diyas (little clay lamps) to illuminate homes and streets. Light signifies goodness in Hinduism, and this tradition represents finding light in darkness and the triumph of good over evil. Address: Tobago
